I received my Technician license in 1991. In 2000 I moved to PA and did not setup any amateur gear. In late 2005, I got back in Amateur radio and decided that I will get involved in emergency services and get my HF privileges. In February 2006 I received my general license and in April 2006 I received my Extra license. You will find me volunteering in the local races, marathons or other club events and in any emergency incident in my area. I am also a VE for our local clubs (PARK and EPARA) in the Pocono Mountains.
I was able to achieve my Worked All States (WAS) in March 07, Worked all Continents (WAC) in July 07 and DXCC phone in June 09. I am now going for IOTA.
It has been a blast so far and I have made a lot of contacts and friends on the amateur bands.
I hope I get a chance to talk to you on the air!!!!!
